Week 3
Blog work
Provide a summary of the techniques and film making processes used by the film makers.
Tangerine- Filmed on an Iphone during a span of three days (and nights). Specific shooting location.
Kubo - Mixing stop motion and 3D CGI. Wireframes in puppet clothing and large sets and models. Large pipeline.
Discuss your thoughts.
Tangerine
If you are shooting a film on a very low budget I think "Tangerine" is a good reference/model. However I think it is of little use to me.
Kubo
Could be useful to me as it is a composited hybrid animation, but I'll need to find something detailing the process. Aesthetically, Kubo is of no use to me, but I think the pipeline and process are worth investigating.

Steam train Research
Eye of the storm
Music video suggested by Vaughn Millar, worth looking at for the compositing process and steampunk look.
